My Story

After 31 years with the State of Ohio, I retired with a nagging feeling that there was something more I was meant to do. As retirement approached, I started taking that feeling seriously.

A book called Oh Shift by Jennifer Powers led me to discover life coaching — and I immediately recognized myself in it. I had always been the person friends, co-workers, and even strangers turned to when they needed someone to really listen. I became a certified life coach through The Coach Training Alliance and never looked back.

Coaching taught me to trust my intuition, which led me straight to Tarot and Oracle cards — and I fell in love. I'm currently enrolled in the Biddy Tarot Certified Advisor Program. Along the way, I was also drawn to energy healing and became a certified Reiki Level 1 and Level 2 practitioner. My daughter used to ask me to do Reiki on her before bed to help her fall asleep — that still makes me smile.

I created The Energy Alcove to be a safe, judgment-free space where you can speak your truth and find your own answers. I'm here to help you co-create the life you were meant to live — not just let it pass you by.
